Atmospheric Storage Tank Data Sheet and Instructions (Supplement to API Standard 650)
This Practice contains a PIP VEDTA003-D Atmospheric Storage Tank Data Sheet for providing supplemental requirements not otherwise specified in the API 650 Tank Data Sheet for welded steel atmospheric storage tanks designed in accordance with API 650. The PIP VEDTA003-D Data Sheet is required to be prepared in conjunction with PIP VESTA002 and the API 650 Tank Data Sheet to specify requirements that are to be used by the Manufacturer to design, fabricate, and erect an atmospheric storage tank in accordance with API 650. This Practice provides instructions to Purchasers and Manufacturers for the preparation and completion of the PIP VEDTA003-D Data Sheet.

​This Practice provides heat exchanger design and fabrication criteria and methodology from the User to a Designer and/or the Manufacturer. This Practice is also intended as guidance for the development of purchase specifications covering the construction of new shell-and-tube heat exchangers which meet the philosophy and requirements of Section VIII, Division 1 {or 2} of the Code and TEMA Standards of the Tubular Exchangers Manufacturers Association.
This Practice shall be used in conjunction with PIP VEDST003 - Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger Specification Sheet, and PIP VEFV1100 - Vessel/S&T Heat Exchanger Standard Details, in order to comprise a complete heat exchanger purchase specification.

Specifications for PIP Valve Commodity Codes was withdrawn May 2009. Its contents have been replaced by PNCM0004 – Valve Commodity Codes Designator System.
​This purpose of this Practice is to establish a common method and format for designating PIP valve commodity codes. This Practice also provides a standardized method for users of PIP piping practices to add valves or add valve variations to PIP piping lines
