Please check the information on the “Ordering Practices” page. Other Publication order questions can be answered by calling 512.232.3016.

  2. Is there a Practices price list?

Prices are shown on all the Disciplines (CSA, Electrical, Process Control, etc.) pages. These pages can be accessed from the "Information about Published Practices" page. Abstracts of Practices, if applicable, are available on the Disciplines pages also.

  3. How can I get an electronic copy of a Practice?

PIP members are permitted to download electronic copies in various file formats. Another alternative to ordering Practices in paper copy is the “ PIP Subscription Program .” PIP subscribers are permitted to electronically download Practices in PDF format and, in some cases, Electronic Entry Data Sheets (EEDS) in Microsoft Word or Excel format. For information on becoming a subscriber see PIP Subscription Program.  The purchase of individual Practices is available in "hard copy" (paper copy) and/or PDF form from our two distributors – IHS and Techstreet. As copyrighted material, these have limited utilization vs. that provided to a Subscriber Agreement and there are no notices of revisions provided. Information about prices and ordering from IHS or Techstreet can be found on their websites at: http://engineers.ihs.com/collections/pip/index.jsp and http://www.techstreet.com/info/pip.tmpl respectively.
